1. Purpose

Enable UBC to respond to RFPs and engage in international programs using any of the three global PM standards.

2. Scope

All client-facing PM communications and RFP responses.

3. Definitions

  • Mapping — A concordance between UBC PM terms and an external standard.

5. Procedure

  1. Maintain concordance tables between UBC PM Standard, PMBOK 7 performance domains, PRINCE2 themes, and ISO 21500 subject groups.
  2. Review annually and after major standard updates.
  3. Sales and delivery use the appropriate framework's language in client-facing materials while executing the UBC PM Standard internally.
  4. Any external claim of compliance to PMBOK / PRINCE2 / ISO 21500 must be approved by the PMO Director and General Counsel.
